Crawl. Change. Fly.

It is funny how humans with a caterpillar lifestyle want to fly like the butterflies they see on tv, social media or in magazines. But they never want to go through the process of change. Stop yearning for beauty, stop wanting to flap if you are not willing to withstand the painful process of growth. You do not get to skip the cocoon. You do not get to manifest greatness without sacrifice. To go from crawling to flying you have to transform your whole body, mind and soul. Rebirth. Revival. Reawakening. You go to sleep and open your eyes to a whole new life. It does not just happen. You make it happen. You have to put in the effort to shift your whole mindset and speak life into yourself. There is no more "I can't" , " I don't know how" , "Nobody taught me" , "My past is too much" , "My hurt is too much". None of those statements will ever lead to success. You will die in the cocoon and who wants that? Replace those statements with "I want to learn" , "I can do it" , "I am strong enough" , "My past does not define me" , "This life is a journey", and so on and so on. Teach yourself, find mentors, create a different environment than the dirt you have been crawling in for so long. The people and the things that pour into you make you who you are. You cannot be surrounded and consumed with negative energy everyday, whether that is in your own mind, or the people around you, and expect to be dripping with fulfillment. If you want to be great, dive into the circles of greatness. Be around positive people, read uplifting books, listen to inspiring talks, and learn from the people that have already exited the cocoon. No more pouting about my life is so hard. I have suffered from depression and know the pain of not wanting to live no longer. The difference now is that I do not feel sorry for myself anymore. I want greatness so I am going to fight and fight and fight until depression no longer has a hold on me. I know I have purpose. I know I was created with something in me that no one else in this Universe possesses. And so do you. If I can do it, anyone can do it. We are all the same. We are ALL born to be butterflies, the caterpillar is not our finish line.
