Don't Be A Statistic.
If your species is H-U-M-A-N…then this blog post applies to you. Someone in your life whether past or present, doubted you. They doubted your success. They doubted your greatness. They doubted your achievements. They doubted your light. Well today is about proving all those people wrong.
You see that flower blooming from the cactus?
That is us.
We can grow and bloom BEAUTIFULLY even in the most unexpected environments.
If your parents were verbally and emotionally abusive, do you have to be?
If your mom got beat every day, do you have to hit people to tell them you love them?
If you got abandoned, do you have to dip out every time you get too close to someone?
If you were told you would never be anything, do you have to believe it?
Just because your childhood was a little spiky, a little dangerous or maybe not a little, maybe it was extremely toxic. Even then, that does not put a halt on your blooming season.
What they did, what they told you, or who they are does not have to be who you are.
Maybe for so long you felt like the black sheep. You felt like you was born into the wrong family. You felt like a stranger in your own home.
Guess what?
You felt that for a reason. You felt that because your energy was different. You felt that because God had a different plan for you. You aren’t the black sheep. You are the white horse that might one day bring salvation to your whole family and community.
Be that peaceful light shining in a dark chaotic world.
Stay different and never conform!
How though?
How can you break the cycle and stop being a statistic?
How can we stop doing the same things every other family passes down?
REMEMBER!
Remember the pain you felt. Remember how it felt to be rejected, unloved, neglected, and pushed aside. Remember that pain so you will never repeat that pain in your own life and in others’. If you suppress it, you will never be aware of it. Your subconscious will only do what it was taught. It is programmed to do what was passed down. Not only will you not be aware of the pain you cause in yourself. But you will be unaware of the pain you attract. Until you break the cycle you will always attract friends and lovers into your life that resemble that exact pain. You will continue to be betrayed and hurt and wonder why.
This pain is not who you are but it needs to be released so it does not become who you are.
If they were a cactus, be a flower.
If they were concrete, be a rose.
You can be different. You can love better. You can alter your life. Just reprogram your mind.
Change the data and subtract yourself from the statistic everybody thought you would be.
